Yoga Flow & Stretch 

This class is designed to take you to the next level of your yoga journey. You will build total body awareness by combining light weights, body resistance and some traditional yoga poses for improved strength, balance, flexibility and endurance. You’ll be challenged in this class and leave feeling strong and empowered!

This all-levels Vinyasa Flow class will help clear your mind and strengthen your body. Creating the power of connecting breath and movement. Yoga Flow & Stretch will help you let go from everyday life, so you can enjoy your daily activities with a strong body, a focused mind and a light spirit.

This class is perfect for beginners or for those seeking a restful practice. The sequencing incorporates a mindful, slowly moving gentle practice with the deep stillness within postures. This focus allows the body and mind to purge stress and release tension on a profound level.

This is a low intensity class that focuses on using proper form and technique for strengthening the whole body and improving core balance with range of motion. We thoroughly stretch each major muscle group that we work in order to promote muscle and joint flexibility as well. Many of the exercises are done seated on a Reebok step with several risers stacked to accommodate the height of the individual. A wide variety of props are used for strengthening and modification purposes. This is a great class for those that are new to resistance training or group fitness classes or want a lighter workout that still produces results!

This class is designed to quiet the mind and regulate the breath in order to help you relax into your own body awareness while increasing flexibility. A variety of stretches are given with specific instruction on how to release other muscles and parts of the body, so as to assist you in achieving the greatest range of motion for yourself with each stretch. All stretches are encouraged to be held for at least 30 seconds, and most stretches can be done with your eyes closed to help promote greater relaxation. Soft, melodic and centering music is played throughout class.

When stretching and meditation are combined, a person’s meditation and ‘going within’ are deepened to such a level that the body and mind reach new depths of relaxation, meditation, and healing. This is a structured guided mediation creating a healthy connection between the mind and body for an overall state of wellness and deep relaxation. We’ll spend 20 minutes gently moving, stretching and connecting to your breath preparing your mind and body to move into guided meditation asking the conscious mind to step aside and let the subconscious mind come forward to help unlock our gifts, our deep internal wisdom and allow our bodies and minds to learn how to fully relax and let go of stress. Basic breathing techniques and an internal body scan will be taught to help release muscle tension and enjoy deep relaxation. This class is open to all levels.

A 50-minute class utilizing a series of non-impact exercises that help develop core strength, spinal flexibility, balance, correct body alignment, postural stability, increased circulation and overall better health. Various modifications, as well as added challenges and options, will be offered for those needing them, making these classes fairly open to most all levels of fitness.

A Baptiste inspired class designed to build core strength, flexibility, and injury prevention. This class is designed to be challenging for people of all fitness levels offering modifications for students ranging from athletes to professional sitters. This class will focus on sharing the physical and mental benefits of yoga to traditional and non-traditional yoga students that may be uncomfortable with the perception of yoga as being a spiritual practice. Students will be encouraged to push their edge in a non-competitive fun environment.

This class is centered around the Pilates idea of achieving better core strength to improve balance, stability, coordination and overall body awareness. Most of the props available at the studio will be utilized(TRX suspension system, balance disks, dumbbells, ankle weights, elastic bands, Reebok Steps, weighted & unweighted Pilates balls and yoga blocks & mats) along with your own body weight. There will be more advanced challenges than in our regular Pilates classes, but modifications will be given as needed. Class will end with a nice stretch.

TRX Suspension is a revolutionary method of leveraged body-weight exercise. Using gravity and your own body weight suspension training increases functional strength, decreases chronic pain, and increases joint mobility and stability. The flexibility of TRX allows participants to progress to different levels of intensity and choose options that are right for them. Which allows each participant to customize their workout for their own needs and goals, making TRX a great option for all fitness levels.

Target Zen is the most fun you’ve ever had working out!  It begins with 15 minutes of warm-up and cardio to get the muscles loosened up and heart rate up, moving into 20-25 minutes of intense conditioning targeting arms, abs and hips, Then the Zen part!  The class will end with stretching out a few muscle groups and then a nap on your mat.
